Kayla Mae Olmstead

Kayla was born with Left-sided Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (LCDH). When she was born she was in the NICU for a total of 55 days. She reherniated two years later, had her repair surgery in May 2011 and spent 11 days in hospital recovering. She is a tough little girl and we are truly blessed to have her here.

Thankful November 14

14. As crazy as it seems, I am thankful for Pinterest.  I know, I know, it's a silly thing to be thankful for.  But if I really think about it, since I have been introduced to Pinterest from my sister in law, Meghan, I have been more creative with things in my home. (ie.  toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, salsa jars, pepsi bottles, coffee cans, etc.)   I have been doing more crafts lately and I love it.  Instead of spending a ton of bucks on cute decorations for my home, I'm making them.. and they don't look so bad either. :) It has also helped me come up with fun things to do with my children.. they appreciate it as well, I'm sure. :) Pinterest has sparked the creative side in me... I needed that push!
