I'm Ok...tribute.. :)

For those of you who followed my blog on Kayla's surgery and recovery time you may have seen a video of Kayla letting you all know she was "ok".  So today, I made her a t-shirt that says "I'm Ok".  When I told her what the shirt said she knew exactly what it meant.. as she instantly lifted her shirt and looked at her scar.  :)

We had a fun little photo shoot with her new shirt.. she's an amazing little girl.  Sometimes it's so hard to explain just how life-threatening her defect is when she is so vibrant and giggly.  But it's scary to think of how close we were to losing her.. :( And to think of all those who have lost your precious baby and those who still aren't sure if their little one will survive or not... makes me just so sad.. :( We are so thankful Kayla was able to beat CDH- and all of her surgeries.  <3
